For the 5th consecutive year, PalmerHouse Properties has been the recipient of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Award, recognized as one of the fastest-growing, private companies in Atlanta.
PalmerHouse Properties was one of 100 privately owned companies honored as a finalist at the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 19th annual Pacesetter Awards breakfast. The Pacesetter Awards recognized Metro Atlanta’s fastest growing companies at an awards breakfast for more than 600 guests on April 25, 2014, at the Marriott Marquis.
In 2012, PalmerHouse Properties’ sales volume was a little more than $181.3 million and in 2013 the company increased that by 94 percent with a sales volume of more than $351.7 million.
This real estate brokerage group credits this growth to the return of a brisk real estate market, a talented army of agents and its corporate culture.
“Properties were selling again … and selling quickly. However, all real estate companies had that factor in common,” said Kevin L. Palmer, founder and CEO. “What allowed PalmerHouse to significantly increase its market share was its increase and retention of quality agents. At PalmerHouse, our client is our agent, so we do whatever we can to support the success and prosperity of our agents. Furthermore, we operate under the motto of ‘Respect People – Have Fun – Make Money.’ As long as we keep those principles in that order, we know PalmerHouse and our agents will be successful. Our agents tell us every day that they can feel the difference.”
Pacesetter Award recipients all experienced a two-year growth in sales of more than 50 percent and revenue between $1 million and $300 million in 2012 and were ranked by a growth index formula to account for businesses of different sizes.
